See what a find could sell for

Worthy is a mobile app for resellers. Take two photos of a second-hand item to see its estimated resale value, then list it on eBay without leaving the app.

How it works
Worthy on three phones: the home screen, a result for AirPods with a $67 estimated resale value, and the camera framing the item

Buy what's worth reselling. Leave the rest.

Worthy goes with you to thrift stores, flea markets, estate sales and garage sales. Scan an item, see what it could sell for and what you'd keep after fees, and decide before you pay.

What you'd make after cost and fees

Enter your cost, and Worthy subtracts it and the selling fees from the estimated resale value. What's left is your net profit.

Worthy's profit calculator: estimated resale value $67.00, your cost $12.00, selling fees $15.66, net profit $39.34

How Worthy works

  1. Two photos

The whole item, then its label

Use the camera or photos already on your phone, and Worthy works out what the item is.

  2. Value and profit

An estimate to weigh against the asking price

Worthy names the item and shows its estimated resale value.

Selling

List it on eBay without leaving Worthy

Connect your eBay seller account, and Worthy prepares the listing from your scan: photos, title, category, condition, item details and a price to start from. Check it, change anything you like, and publish when you're ready. Worthy then follows the listing and shows you when it sells.

Works with eBay accounts that sell on ebay.com. Nothing goes live until you tap List on eBay.

You're holding something at a garage sale, and the only price you know is the one on the sticker. We make Worthy so you can check before you pay.

Questions and answers

Email us
What is Worthy?

A mobile app for people who resell second-hand finds. It identifies an item from two photos, estimates what it could resell for and what you'd make after your cost and fees, and can list it on eBay for you.

Who is Worthy for?

People who buy things at thrift stores, garage sales, flea markets and estate sales to sell again, part time or full time.

Is Worthy's estimate an appraisal?

No. It's an automated estimate based on recent market information, and it can be wrong. Check the item, its condition and the market yourself before you buy or sell.

How does listing on eBay work?

You connect your own eBay seller account in the app. Worthy prepares the listing from your scan, you check and edit it, and nothing goes live until you tap List on eBay. You can disconnect eBay at any time.

Can I download Worthy?

Not yet. We haven't set a release date.

What happens to my data?

You sign in with Apple or Google, so your finds stay with your account on any device. Worthy keeps your scans and their photos so you can come back to them, and uses providers such as Google and Apple to run the app. We don't sell your personal information. Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect and how to delete it, and our Terms of Service set out the rules for using Worthy.
